the funny thing is, the movie was NC16 and our ICs got checked! HEH HEH. totally made my day man. i still look young! :DD
then, it was Inglourious Basterds on Monday night with Chewww at Cine. although the movie was M18 this time, we didnt get checked. :( could it be that i look young with Limo, but look old with Chewww??? [HAHAHA Chewwww is gonna kill me]
oh well. i can see why it was rated M18. freaking gross can. esp when they cut the scalps off the Nazis, to me it looked quite real. but at least the ending was nice, unlike most movies where they spend the whole time building up the climax only to find that the ending sucked.
the movie IS fictional, right? Hitler didnt die that way right?? i thought he committed suicide.
yup ok he did commit suicide [cos i Googled it and found it on the TIME website heh heh], and wasnt shot to death by a Basterd until his face came off :/
took some photos!
i dont know why the photos look so blurry.
went to watch the NUS vs NTU soccer match last night with Jia Ru. i dont know who we were supporting--NTU cos we were frm NTU, or NUS our friends were playing in NUS? in the end i guess we ended up being neutral supporters. but we seemed more like we were waiting for our bung gfs to finish the match rather than being interested in the match itself.
"hey that man looks like a bee"
"what is that staircase thing for ah?"
"omg those girls running on the track legs damn long"
"oh track and field ppl gonna jump over those things, so scary"
"wah lau the rugby ball like gonna fly over here"
"eh let's go buy Old Chang Kee currypuff"
HAHAHA.
anyway, NTU won 2-0. which was kind of expected.
oh, did i mention that Gilbert the gerbil died a few months ago?
and 2 days ago, Bunny the rabbit died.
i dont have any photos of Bunny alone, so here's one with her best friend Truffle. this was when she was still quite fat.
i dont know if she died of sickness or old age, cos nobody knows her real age and when she was gonna die she looked quite sick.
when she died, Truffle and Cracker crowded around her while Strudel and Cadbury looked on sombrely. Truffle started grooming Bunny's dead body as if asking her to get up. even after Bunny was wraped up in newspaper Truffle still kept scratching at it and trying to open the newspaper up.
it's not much a feeling of sadness as it is a sense of loss. not much sadness cos i wasnt that close to her, she was shitting and peeing everywhere--in the kitchen, under the sofa etc. but loss. loss that there'll nvr be another rabbit that refuses to eat proper rabbit food and insists on eating cat food [eg TUNA] and dog food [eg rice and PORK]. there'll nvr be another rabbit that thinks she's a dog and will go around grunting and barking in a rabbit-like way. there'll nvr be another rabbit that will go up to a cat and nudge them for some grooming, or push them out of the way cos she doesnt wanna share the food with them.
everytime i feed Truffle in the morning and there'll have leftovers, i'd call Cadbury over and give him the leftovers, but everytime Bunny would chiong over first and gobble it up greedily. so i always had to look around to see if Bunny was there before putting the food down for Cadbury.
this morning, i found myself doing the same instinctively, although Bunny is no longer there.
oh well, at least she'll be with Gilbert now.
RIP, Bunny.
